Removing users from your organisation
SimChat allows you to manage users by deactivating or permanently deleting accounts.
Deactivating users
Deactivation removes a user’s access to your organisation without deleting their data. Deactivated users:
- Cannot log in or use any scenarios
- No longer count towards your plan limits
- Can be reactivated at any time
How to deactivate users
- Go to Users in the left sidebar
- Choose the Deactivate user button
You can also deactivate multiple users at once by using the bulk selection tools on the Users page.

Deleting users
Deletion is permanent. Once deleted:
- All associated learner data is removed
- The user cannot be restored
- You will need to invite them again if they rejoin in the future
Only delete users when you are sure their data is no longer required.
How to delete users
- Go to Users in the left sidebar
- Locate the user you previously deactivated
- Select the red Delete button

Deleting is only available for users who are already deactivated. You can also reactivate a user with the green **Reactivate **button.
