Inviting users (learners)

Users join your organisation through invite links. These can be shared manually (e.g. via LMS or intranet) or sent by email directly from SimChat.

When a learner uses an invite link, they will:

1. Create a SimChat account  
2. Be automatically associated with your organisation  
3. Be added to a group if your invite link is linked to one  

Creating an invite link

1. Go to Settings → User invites  
2. Select New invite  
3. Name the invite (e.g. “Year 2 medical students”)  
4. Set optional limits:  

• Max uses – number of people who can join  
• Expiry date – when the link stops working  

5. (Optional) Assign a group – learners will be added automatically  
6. Select Create invite link

Using the invite link

After creating the link, you can:

• Copy it to share manually  
• Send invitations by email through SimChat
