Exporting transcripts and activity reports

SimChat lets you export transcripts and activity data for assessment records, portfolios and reporting. You do this from the Activity section.

Exporting is available to owners and administrators. Learners can export their own session history from My activity.

Exporting a single transcript

To export one conversation:

Go to Activity
Open the session you want
Export the transcript as a PDF or as plain text

The PDF includes the transcript along with the score and feedback for that session.

Bulk downloading transcripts

If you need many transcripts at once, use the bulk download option on the Activity page. Select a date range and SimChat produces the transcripts together. This is useful for portfolio submissions, assessments or external reporting.

Exporting activity data

From the Activity page you can also export, for a chosen date range:

A spreadsheet of conversations and scores, for your own analysis
A PDF activity report summarising usage

Curriculum coverage exports

Curriculum coverage reports can be exported separately as Excel or PDF. See Tracking curriculum coverage.
