Using scenario libraries and importing scenarios
As well as creating your own scenarios, SimChat offers optional scenario libraries. These libraries contain professionally developed scenarios that you can import into your organisation’s scenario database and share with your learners.
Imported scenarios behave like standard scenarios, except they cannot be edited. You can still organise them into collections and assign access as needed.
Available scenario libraries
SimChat currently offers two scenario libraries. Both are available as add-ons to any paid plan.
Geeky Medics Virtual Patient Library
This library provides access to a large collection of OSCE-style virtual patient cases.

This library focuses on primary care scenarios aligned with the GP curriculum and suitable for SCA preparation.

- Realistic, curriculum-matched presentations
- Suitable for text, voice and video modes
- Reviewed by a senior GP (TPD)

Importing scenarios into your organisation
Once your organisation has purchased a library:
- Go to Scenario Store
- Select the library you have access to
- Browse the available scenarios
- Choose Import on any scenario you want to add
Imported scenarios will appear in your Scenarios list. From there, you can:
- Add them to collections
- Manage access control
Remember, imported scenarios cannot be edited, but they can be used alongside custom scenarios you create.
