Managing your account and preferences

Manage your personal details at: Settings → Account settings, or Account settings in the menu under your name

Your account settings control your personal details and how you interact with scenarios. Every SimChat user has these settings, whether you are an administrator, an author or a learner.

Updating your details

Open Account settings
On the Account tab, update any of the following:

First name
Last name
Preferred language - the language you'd like to use when interacting with scenarios

Select Save changes

Changing your email address

Your email address is shown on the Account tab but cannot be edited there. If you need to change it, contact us at support@simchat.ai.

Your password and security

Your password and two-factor authentication are on the Security tab, not the Account tab. See Securing your account with two-factor authentication.

Organisation access

The Account tab also shows your access to the organisation. If your access has an expiry date it is displayed here; otherwise it shows that your access does not expire.

Switching between organisations

If your account belongs to more than one SimChat organisation, you can move between them without signing out:

Open the menu under your name at the bottom of the sidebar
Under Switch organisation, select the organisation you want to open

Each organisation has its own address, for example your-org.simchat.ai, so you may be asked to sign in again when you switch.
